5 Centimeters Per Second (秒速5センチメートル) by Makoto Shinkai & Awakening by Mae
Perhaps just about the saddest anime movie I have every watched. And paired with this song by Mae, it evokes many unwanted feelings that I fear might happen to me one day. If you haven’t watched the movie, it’s worth your tears.
So why does this make me so sad you ask?
Well.
It’s a sad ending.
Basically…
It’s just not meant to be at the end.
No matter how perfect it was in the beginning
And sometimes.
I feel like the girl with short hair.
The one who has the feelings that are never returned.
And sometimes, I wish I could be the girl with the long hair
to be able to move on.
And sometimes,
I wish I could be the guy. Always faithful to one person.
I’m not saying I’m one of them right now,
but, I feel like, it’s possible that it’ll happen to me.
It sounds silly.
But the movie just made me think
How perfect is perfect?
What’s not meant to be was just never meant to be.
I’m sorry.
My deep thoughts.
That I store for my own sake.
It’s a place you shouldn’t tread.
